Lust for Love

His teeth ground together.  His desire for her is affecting his eyesight.

“I’ve never felt like this towards a male before,” she says.  Her hands tremble as she undoes the strings of his shirt.

His mouth covers hers and he feels the softness of her lips; the warmth of her tongue against his.  He realizes she’s familiar with making love, just not to a man.

“Come to the stream,” she coos, as she undoes and yanks down his breeches.

In the stream he lies with his back against the bank while she mounts him from the top.  This is the one conscious decision he’s able to make while lust blinds him from every other clear-headed decision.

Her teeth nip the side of his neck and his shoulder.  He desperately wants to turn her over and but forces himself not to.

“What if I’m pregnant?” she asks as they lie naked on the grass of the bank.

Ultimately, it’s her decision.  He knows there are herbs women can take.  “We might be banished.”

“I’m already banished,” she says running her index finger along his chest. “Rape,” she says, and he hears her struggling to continue, “Is the fault of a woman to the Fif.”

“I guess we’ll have to live amongst the Propers or maybe the giants and dwarves will adopt us,” he says.  He’s been away from his own people so long he’s not sure now that he could fit in.

“Our child comes first?” she asks circling his bellybutton with her finger.

“Always,” he replies and realizes he means it.  “But it also means we’re outcasts.”

He hears her snort and says, “The coming king will protect us.”

“What upcoming king?” he asks, running his fingers through her hair.

“You know him quite well,” she replies then nips the skin of his neck.

“Who?” he asks raising her chin so he can kiss her lips.

“My brother, Sir Oisin,” she replies.
