Dan Flitton posted that his book: Lead Without Losing Yourself: Stoic Wisdom for School Leadership was now available on Amazon. Dan and I have known each other for years so I bought his book and was super impressed. I contacted Dan and asked him if I could interview him. Unfortunately, his brother Dave and one of my closest friends passed away before we could do the interview. Dave was also a teacher and I know he would be impressed and proud of his brother’s first book. Dan comes from a family of teachers and it shows in his direct and passionate way of explaining his stoic methods for teaching.
We finally came up with a time and date to do the interview. After rewatching it, I realized it wasn’t just an interview but Dan giving a workshop on how to excel as both a teacher and vice principal.
