Mamacita stands behind Autumn Spring and squints at the centre monitor. Autumn told her to wear comfortable clothes because they would be spending the day going over promotions. So, she wore a hoodie to hide her face until she was inside Autumn’s condo.
“You can sit if you want,” Autumn tells her glancing at a high back chair with a cushion on the seat.
“No thanks,” Mamacita replies. “You type out the promotion in Word then add it to the website?” she asks.
“Yes. And then I use the website to link with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on. We also send it to the growing number of emails.”
“On top of your other job you do all this?” Mamacita is intrigued with Autumns’ energy.
“Yup. Once we can afford it, we’ll buy our own ring. We also plan on selling t-shirts. The Source is learning how to use a 3D printer. Eventually, we’ll be able to make figurines of the most popular wrestlers and sell them too.”
“Why aren’t you advertising on Google?”
“We will be once the wrestlers get better on the mic.”
Mamacita’s main goal is to be the first woman to wear the Women’s Championship belt. However, afterwards she wants to run a territory in Mexico. “How do you plan on doing that?”
Autumn turns towards her. “We’re planning on opening some new training schools. At first it might be renting time off of boxing gyms to use their rings, but eventually we’ll have our own. The school will include filming wrestlers as they do promos. You would be good at doing and teaching promos. You understand the importance of speaking out loud, as if you were doing a stage performance.”
Mamacita takes in a deep breath. “I’m in!”
