The Source stays in the ring, and keeps The Bionic Man with him as the crowd leaves. Once the doors to the auditorium are closed, he waits for all the other wrestlers, the referee, and the backup wrestlers to climb into the ring. He sees Autumn Spring push a large luggage bag and a smaller one onto the canvas before stepping into the ring herself.
“Great job everyone!” The Source says, and he walks around to everyone giving them a hug. “A lot of adapting had to happen today for this to be such a success. Lobster Claw and Bionic Man, that was truly ingenious. Brokkr and Goriath.” The Source shakes his head in amazement. “What you did, on the spur of the moment, after the Milkmen had to cancel out, was phenomenal. And Brokkr, using The Bionic Man’s mask to create a difference in gear—brilliant!” He can see everyone nodding and clasping each other’s shoulders.
“We have one more special event before we tear down the ring and head home. Lobster Claw, if you would do the honors.”
Lobster Claw picks up the two luggage bags and places them before The Bionic Man.
“You guys are sending me away?” The Bionic Man asks with a nervous chuckle.
“Brother, and brother-in-arms,” Lobster Claw’s baritone voice booms out, “Open the big suitcase first.”
The Source taps his right foot in anticipation.
“A foldout mat,” The Bionic Man says, unimpressed.
“Keep digging brother,” Lobster Claw tells him.
“A machine…?” The Bionic Man says. “This is a PEMF machine?” he says in a higher voice. “Do you know what these cost!”
“Open the other bag,” Lobster Claw coaxes him in a softer voice.
“I can’t believe this!” The Bionic Man says wiping tears away after unzipping the bag. “For traveling?” he asks looking at The Source.
“We can wait a bit longer before we buy our own wrestling ring,” The Source says. “You get healthier, and keep drawing in the crowds.”
“That I will,” The Bionic Man says with a promise in his voice.
“I get to use it when I visit,” Lobster Claw chirps in.
“You have to eat properly for it to work,” The Bionic Man says as he flips through the manual.
The Source laughs.
